In all races traditions are the enrichment of its cultures. Within
these cultures there exists Religious and Spiritual traditional beliefs,
which fashion and forges the foundation of their social structures. These
traditional beliefs are the roots of Ethnicity and Heritage. Within
Canada and America we are composed of a Multicultural Society. However,
here in Canada we teach Multiculturalism, and boast of having a true
diverse Multicultural society that is Equal under the law.
In fact, The Canadian Charter Of Rights and Freedoms
claimed “Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of
God and the rule of law”. Whereby everyone has the following fundamental
freedoms: freedom of conscience and religion; freedom of thought, belief,
opinion and expression.
Under the grounds of Religious discrimination, The
Canadian Human Rights Commission states: The central issue in any case of
alleged discrimination based on religion is not what constitutes a
religion but whether the following three questions can be answered in the
affirmative:
Is the belief sincerely held?
Is
it religious?
Is it the cause of the
objective being made?
Where discrimination has occurred because of
knowledge of one’s religion or a perception of that religion, it is
unnecessary for the complainant to prove his or her religious beliefs.
Here in Canada, under the Constitutional Rights which
ensure the fundamental religious freedom of Rights, the Canadian Laws have
violated The Canadian Fundamental Constitutional Religious Rights and has
committed discrimination against The RASTAFARI People within Canada. In
fact, these laws are being willfully used to Criminalize The RASTAFARI
People.
It is globally known that the smoking and other uses
of MARIJUANA is a sincere fundamental religious rite held by The RASTAFARI
People. In fact, MARIJUANA use is globally held as synonymous to The
RASTAFARI People. Even the dictionaries, verify the ritualistic
religious use of Marijuana by the RASTAFARI People.
Even within the religious writings held as the
foundation of Christianity the USE Of MARIJUANA is documented, and written
of in prophesy. “Behold MY Servant whom I upheld; Mine Elect in whom MY
SOUL Delight -----. A bruise “REED” he shall not break, and “The SMOKING
FLAX (MARIJUANA) HE SHALL NOT STOP (ISAIAH 42: 1-3).” One may say, it
states Flax, and not MARIJUANA. However, it is the translator that erred,
because flax is not smoked, only HEMP which is another European name given
to GAN-JAH (Tree Of JAH). It clearly states that a bruise REED he shall
not brake, which is a grass like plant which one slightly crush and chewed
on. It is commonly used in that region. When it states that the Smoking
Flax he shall not stop, it clearly differentiates the spiritual use
between the two. In fact, this mistranslation from Hemp to Flax can
clearly be verified in the early writings of these religious documents.
“The Flax and the barley was smitten, for the barley was in the ear, and
the Flax was boiled (Exodus 9:31)”. In MIZRAIM, which was later called
EGYPT, it is a known fact that Hemp was one of the major agricultural
resource, and not Flax. In fact Flax is not indigenous to the region, but
GAN-JAH Is. However they have many similar uses. More so, in the Book of
Revelation it states: “The leaves of The Tree are for the Healing Of The
Nations (Rev. 22:2). Again it is only MARIJUANA that is globally refers
to as The Tree that is Healing Of The Nation.
Thus, these reasons are the cause of the objection
being made. Especially, since, we the RASTAFARI People are a visible part
of The Canadian Society. The RASTAFARI People ritual rite and fundamental
beliefs derive out of The Ancient Spiritual Ethnicity and Heritage Of The
Nubian (Black) Race. Thus it is clear that the laws of Canada has
violated The Constitutional Rights and has discriminated against The
Nubian (Black) Race.
The guarantee of Rights and Freedoms under The
Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the right and freedoms
set out in it subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law as
can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society. Since
ALCOHOL use is legal within the Canadian Society, and has proven to be far
more dangerous and has far more devastating effects on the society than
MARIJUANA, then the legalization of Marijuana is justifiable. Alcohol use
is clearly documented to be the causes of high death toll, illnesses,
destruction of family and one’s life. It is even known to be very highly
addictive, which has cause the society an enormous cost in
rehabilitation. The effects of Marijuana use has no known cause of death
toll, nor any form of devastating effects to Self or the Society. In fact
the benefits far out weighs, any negative effects. Medically, it is known
as a Miracle plant, for its countless uses, and Socially, it is the most
ideal relaxant and stress reliever. Since Alcohol is far more harmful
than Marijuana and it is legal within The Canadian Society, then it is
clear that The Marijuana laws is a violation and an infringement of
Religious Rights Of the RASTAFARI People.
Hereby this document is a petition, for the Religious
rights Of The RASTAFARI People. Thus I BLACK Inc. Hereby calls upon all RASTAFARI to please sign this petition so it can be submitted to The
Federal Courts for our rights. Therefore, We The RASTAFARI People hereby
seek the support of all Canadian Citizens in seeking our Religious Rights.
Surely it is good to teach Multiculturalism, but if it is not practiced,
then it is only a delusion. Therefore, I beseech every one to please sign
